The Rundown

With Misguided Aggression, it’s easy to see why metal fans continue to follow this quintet from Southern Ontario. Envision Lamb of God, Pantera and Meshuggah having a drunken bar brawl and you’ll quickly understand why the group’s blend of head banging grooves and unbridled brutality would be the perfect soundtrack. Just check out the band’s debut “Hatachala,” featuring the singles "Our Kingdom Come" and "Pigs in the Market," and you’ll have a pretty good idea of what these guys are all about. With Misguided Aggression, it’s not how they part their hair or how trendy their sneakers are; it’s about how much they believe in what they’re doing and what they’re willing to give back to their audience. In other words, there’s no bullshit here…and it shows. All hail!
